Storage
Reviewed 31 October 2026. Written for heartandhavoc.com and for this lodge. It is not a copy of another document.
What is stored, exactly
Two values, both in the browser’s local storage, both written and read only by this site. No cookie whatever is set by this lodge’s site.
| Key | Written when | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| havoc_age_ok | The age question is answered | yes | So the question is asked once per device |
| havoc_consent | The storage bar is answered | granted or denied | So the bar stays answered and the signals match |
The first script on every page
Before anything else loads, every page here sets Consent Mode v2 defaults to denied for ad storage, ad user data, ad personalisation and analytics storage. Denied is the state the page begins in, not a state it is corrected into after a tag has already run. No tag runs.
If a tag were added later
Google Analytics 4 would write _ga and _ga_CONTAINER on this domain for two years. Google Ads conversion tracking would write _gcl_au for ninety days. Neither exists today, and neither would be written before Allow is chosen.
Changing the answer
Storage settings in the footer of any page opens the bar again. Leave off writes denied and switches the four signals back off immediately.
Blocking it at your end
Any current browser can block site storage for a single site. Blocking it here breaks nothing: the age question is simply asked on each visit, which is the correct result rather than a fault.
Not used here
No social network pixel. No fingerprinting. No session recording. No font is fetched from anywhere else while a page runs; both faces come from here. No content delivery network. The network panel of any browser will show requests to this domain and to nothing else.
